On June 5, 2025, PACK solutions, a French software publisher specializing in insurance portfolio management, hosted the third edition of its Rencontres de la Gestion in Paris. This annual event focuses on contract management and brings together major players in the insurance sector.

Digital transformation in insurance: A topic with many challenges

This year, retirement savings took center stage at the Rencontres de la Gestion. A series of panel discussions addressed key data-related issues in insurance, sparking conversation and insight around the topic.

Themes included current industry trends and challenges such as AI and augmented managers, “made in France” management, the societal impact of management roles, and finally, data quality in the insurance sector.

agileDSS France had the opportunity to take part in this last panel. Nicolas Lepiller, Director of the Nantes office, spoke as an expert in data and digital transformation. He was joined by Lidia-Ilona Zuber (Crédit Agricole Assurance), Juliette Bertrand-Vincienne (ALB Conseil), and Gwenola Pion (BPCE Assurances). Several members of the agileDSS France team were also on-site to engage with professionals from the field.

Data quality and management: Everyone’s responsibility

With over 15 years of experience in data and 5 years working with insurance companies, Nicolas shared his expertise and emphasized the key steps needed to achieve reliable and actionable data:

  • Identifying the right stakeholders throughout the data lifecycle
  • Implementing strict quality controls and clear monitoring reports
  • Defining structured procedures and remediation plans to act swiftly in case of anomalies

Nicolas and the other panelists continued the conversation by sharing experiences on the importance of strong data governance, the need for both business and technical skills, and the value of having a strong sponsor to bring all stakeholders on board.

They all agreed that data quality is a collective responsibility, from operations teams to executive leadership, including business and IT teams. Only by working together and aligning on a common language can organizations identify and implement meaningful improvements in data quality.

Why data is strategic in the insurance sector

In a highly regulated industry like insurance, data is more than a tool for efficiency – it is a strategic asset. It helps meet regulatory requirements, enables deeper understanding of customers, supports personalization of offerings, and drives performance.

That’s why strong data governance and a clear data strategy are essential for maintaining competitiveness.

agileDSS: A trusted partner for insurers

With many successful projects for major insurance companies in Quebec, the Groupe agileDSS has developed solid expertise in data governance, quality, and value creation in complex environments – which is often the case in the insurance industry, where regulations are strict and data plays a key role.

This first participation in the Rencontres de la Gestion gave the Groupe an opportunity to showcase its insurance expertise and reaffirm a shared vision with Pack Solutions, laying the groundwork for future collaboration.

In conclusion

This first experience at the Rencontres de la Gestion was not only rich in insights and expert discussions, but also in meaningful connections. It marks the beginning of agileDSS France’s development in the insurance industry and beyond, as a recognized data expert across various sectors.
